Are your lights flickering? No, your house isn't haunted but you may have a serious electrical issue. Flickering lights indicate arcing or loose connections which is a fire hazard. Potential temperature of an arcing 120 volt circuit is over 2000 degrees which is above the melting point of copper. The panel we replaced had been experiencing extreme arcing and had lots of oxidation. These homeowners were at great risk of a catastrophic house fire. The buss bar had failed causing arcing to occur in the main breaker and several branch circuits. CWC Electric, LLC replaced the defective panel with a new Square D Homeline 100 amp, 20 space, 40 circuit panel. We include a built in surge protector on all service replacements we perform. Call CWC Electric, LLC for an estimate on replacing your panel at 785-215-8775.

I had no idea that frequent episodes of flickering lights could indicate that the home has loose electrical connections. My friend told me that her home's lights have been flickering lately, and it's starting to get her worried. I'll be sure to let her know that she might need an electrical panel replacement, and suggest that she get an expert to install it for her.

I never knew loose connections and flickering lights can result in a fire. My partner and I are getting worried about the flickering lights in our kitchen and living room. With this, we will look for a skilled electrician on Tuesday who can inspect our electrical system at a competitive rate for our peace of mind.

Thanks for helping me understand that a house fire might be possible if there is a lot of extreme arcing and oxidation in their panels. With that in mind, I should get ours checked since the flickering lights around the house might be caused by it. It has been two days since it started, so I hope we are not too late by tomorrow once we hire a lighting repair service and electrician.
